Hi, I'm Claire

I’ve been writing my entire life, but I became a published author in 2021. My publishing journey started under Haley Tyler, my dark romance alter ego. And while I still love diving into the dark and twisty, I’ve always had a soft spot for the softer side of love.

Now, as Claire Brooks, I write slow burn, angsty stories with just the right touch of suspense—the kind that’ll keep you reading well past bedtime (sorry for the dark circles, babe).

I think love stories should feel like coming home…and like losing your mind in the best possible way. I live for those will-they-won’t-they moments, and you’ll always find them in my books.

And don’t worry...you never have to wonder if my characters get a happily ever after. They will. Eventually. But I will put them (and you) through the emotional wringer first.

When I’m not writing about grumpy men falling hard for sunshiney women, you can usually find me curled up with a cozy blanket, a cup of tea I probably forgot to drink, and a Pinterest board full of dreamy small town back roads and couples in love.

I live for first kisses, broody softies in disguise, late-night confessions, and heroines who talk a little too much when they’re nervous (because...same). I believe in happily ever afters, second chances, and that the best love stories always start with a little bit of chaos.
